In addition to the many ultrafiltration membrane and RO membrane filter materials used in daily household water purifiers, what other types of filter elements are included in water purifiers?

In household water purifiers, post-activated carbon filter (T33 filter element), activated carbon filter element, pp cotton filter element, resin filter element, maifan stone filter element, mineral filter element, ceramic filter element, KDF filter element, etc. are often used. However, the main attention is that not all household water purifiers will use these filter elements, and generally pp cotton, activated carbon, RO membrane, post-activated carbon, and resin filter elements are used more. 1. PP cotton filter element, a tubular filter element made of non-toxic and odorless polypropylene particles, can filter out impurities such as sediment, rust, colloid, insect eggs and other impurities in the water, and is usually used as a first-level filter element for water purifiers, with a replacement cycle of 2 to 4 months.

2. Activated carbon filter element is divided into granular activated carbon filter element, compressed activated carbon filter element, and sintered activated carbon. The inner layer of the filter element is a polypropylene skeleton, which is wrapped with multiple layers of polypropylene microfiber, with a low surface density, and the replacement cycle is generally 6 to 8 months.

3. Hollow fiber ultrafiltration membrane, the hollow fiber tube is covered with micropores, and the macromolecular substances in the water are filtered out by external pressure or internal pressure, which can filter out suspended solids, particles, colloids, viruses, bacteria and other harmful substances, and the replacement cycle is 12 to 24 months.

Fourth, Ro reverse osmosis membrane, reverse osmosis membrane pore size of 0.0001 microns, under a certain pressure, water molecules can pass, and dissolved salts, colloids, organic matter, heavy metals, bacteria, viruses and other substances in the water will be intercepted, the replacement cycle is 12 to 24 months.

5. The post-activated carbon filter element (T33 filter element) is also made of activated carbon, as the end of the first-stage filter element, the function is to further remove the odor, prevent the secondary pollution of the purified water, improve the taste of the purified water, and make the purified water taste better. The replacement cycle is also 6 to 8 months.

6. Resin filter element, some household water purifiers use additional filter elements for areas with high water hardness, the function is to soften water, and the replacement cycle is 6 to 8 months.
