The granular activated carbon UDF cartridge is filled in a plastic filter housing container without any chemical additives.

The granular activated carbon UDF cartridge is filled in a plastic filter housing container without any chemical additives. The main ingredient in the filter element, granular activated carbon, is a black, porous, solid carbonaceous. Granular activated carbon includes coconut shell activated carbon, fruit shell activated carbon, and coal-based granular activated carbon, which were made from wood, hard fruit shells, animal bones, etc. by carbonization and activation in the early stage. The main organic component of the UDF filter element is carbon, and contains a small amount of oxygen, hydrogen, sulfur, nitrogen, chlorine and other elements. The specific surface area of ordinary activated carbon is: 500~1700m2/g.

The UDF filter element loads the required activated carbon particles into a special plastic shell, welds the end caps to both ends of the shell with welding equipment, and puts non-woven filter sheets that play a filtering role at both ends of the shell to ensure that the carbon core will not drop carbon powder and black water when used. Depending on the requirements, the housing end cap can be made into different types of connection ports. The interface methods are: flat pressure type, pipeline type.
