PP meltblown filter element is the primary filter element in water purification products, and the earlier it comes into contact with water pollutants, the easier it is to be clogged by pollutants. In order to ensure the effectiveness of the filter element, it needs to be cleaned and maintained every period of time. We have compiled some cleaning methods for PP meltblown filter elements for your reference.
1. Clean with industrial descaler
In order to ensure the cleanliness of the machine, some businesses have developed descalers suitable for industrial equipment, which have better effects and higher decontamination rates than household detergents, and are mostly used to clean deep pollutants. It is cleaned in the same way as detergent.
Advantages: Higher decontamination rate, better cleaning effect, can prolong the service life of PP meltblown filter element.
Disadvantages: The cost of cleaning increases, and the inner layer of dirt cannot be removed.
2. Use detergent to clean
Now there are a lot of detergents for decontamination in the kitchenware market, which can also be used for the cleaning of PP meltblown filter elements. Take a basin of water, pour a small amount of detergent into the basin, stir well with your hands, and then put the clogged filter cartridge into it until the color of the filter cartridge becomes lighter or the color of the water does not change.
Advantages: Good descaling effect, can remove multi-level pollutants inside and outside the filter element, and improve the use effect of the filter element.
Disadvantages: The cost is higher, the cost of cleaning 2-3 times is enough to buy a new filter cartridge.
3. Rinse directly with clean water
Take a basin of water first, then take out the PP meltblown filter element that needs to be cleaned from the filter bottle, put the filter element into the water basin, wash the dark place with a brush, and then put it into the water basin and swing it to rinse. Wait until the surface of the filter becomes lighter or no contaminants are being discharged.
Advantages: low cost (only the cost of water is needed), easy maintenance, simple operation, full flushing direction. It is a popular flushing method at this stage.
Disadvantages: The washing effect is not very good, some hard residues are difficult to clean, and if there are too many pollutants accumulated, there is not much effect after cleaning.
